Getaway to the Highlands :-)

Last weekend, Jayden was away and we decided to go away again for a short getaway just the 2 of us... with a big belly, can't go far... so we headed up to the highlands!

Weather was perfect as we made our way up the winding roads, love it as the temperature decreases and just wind down the windows to let the cool breeze caress our faces....

We stopped at the Mushroom Farm for lunch, it's just another 5 minutes drive before you actually reach Genting Highlands.

Lovely scenic view! Love the hues of blue, green and the never-ending hills

Our lunch- we ordered the mushroom mix with vegetables

Sweet potato leaves

Steamed cod fish

Love the fog!

We stayed at First World Hotel this time round, cos we had a free night's stay. Sometimes it'll be other hotels like Highlands Hotel or Resort Hotel.... depending on the promotion.
We always go up only when we have free accommodation :D

Our room overlooks the outdoor theme park, could hear screams from the rollercoaster rides... wished I could go there... but oh well, next time :-)

My time was mostly R & R... no shopping at all, cos I can't walk for long... so chillaxing at Starbucks enjoying the view... the weather :-)

Chomping down a banana chocolate muffin and a Java Chip Frap... yumz!

Have you tried Marrybrown before? The fried chicken is not bad... a pity you hardly find it in KL, we always have it when we go up to Genting

This is my Lucky Plate, equivalent to KFC's snack plate

Hub's Nasi Marrybrown, yummy... he loves this

Lovely breeze coming through starbucks

My Chocolate tuxedo and Hub's chocolate eclair

We had dinner at Hot Pot in First World Plaza, steamboat and BBQ

Happy happy :D

Well, no more getaways already for now..... kuai kuai stay at home :D

14 friends spoke up!:
