Simple things in life

It's funny how simple things can intrigue and satisfy a child. Instead of spending money on branded toys, it's good to look around your house and let your child find and explore their own toys. Of course, a new toy bought by parents, relatives and friends every now and then is pretty harmless lah :)

video

Jayden playing with a paper bag, he had so much fun lifting and dropping it on the floor, he likes the sound it makes too :)

so cute... my little pumpkin!

21 friends spoke up!:

"Home made" toys are the best! For my brat who only plays for 10 mins if its a new toy, things like empty mineral bottles, CD, cellophane tape roll works wonders! Including por-por's pots & pans and onions & potatoes!

BTW, can you teach me how to do the "multi-picture" effect like the one you did for your cupcake photos? Thanks!

I totally agree.... I learnt it the hard way. Being over-excited first time parents, hubby and I have wasted $$ buying toys that Elyssa hardly played with!

oh yeah, do teach how to do that "multi-picture" effect. Need to download a particular software?

Time to bring out the pots and pans and wooden spatulas, and I believe Jayden will be able to keep himself occupied for a long time. Do remember to keep the cutlery out of reach tho...
